Meet The Team

The Law Offices of Martin & Associates is a multilingual and diverse law firm located in Douglasville, GA.  We serve clients throughout the state in civil, criminal, and federal immigration cases. We come to wherever you are located and fight for your rights.


Our team is passionate about educating our clients throughout the legal process so they have the information necessary to make informed decisions. Our team is fluent in English and Spanish. 



Corey Martin, Esq. 

Managing Partner 

Corey Martin is the Managing Partner at The Law Offices of Martin & Associates. He is a former Equity Partner at Hall, Martin, Sinkler, & Associates P.C. He focuses primarily on Criminal Defense, Immigration, Personal Injury and Taxes. 

Corey is the Supervising Attorney at United Voices Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing legal representation, education, & outreach programs to underserved communities. 


Corey is an eight (8) year military veteran and is the Supervising Attorney of AJMLS’, Veterans Legal Clinic located at Fort McPherson, Georgia. The Legal Clinic represents veterans free of charge in misdemeanor criminal cases throughout the State of Georgia. He is an active member of the AJMLS Alumni Board and frequently volunteers to help students in elementary, middle school, high school, and college students prepare for the legal field.


Corey is a Senior Adviser for Martin Financial Solutions and Counsel for J&A Sports Management. He graduated with Honors in 2009 from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and received his undergraduate Math Degree from Excelsior College. While in law school Corey externed with the IRS, Douglas County Solicitor General’s Office, and the Department of Homeland Security- Immigration and Customs Enforcement.


Corey is a 2020 Daily Report Distinguished Leaders Award Honoree and the recipient of the 2020 State Bar of Georgia, William B. Spann Jr. Award. He also received the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. He is also a Douglas County Partner in Education, a Douglas County Juvenile Court Administrative Council Member.

Rico Jones, Esq. 

Of Counsel  

Rico Jones is a licensed attorney specializing in Personal Injury in Georgia. Prior to attending Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, Rico worked as a Sr. Claims Adjuster for multiple insurance companies in Georgia.


Rico is passionate about serving his clients by providing quality legal representation, service, and expertise.  He caters to the needs of his clients by utilizing his previous experience as a claims adjuster to help personal injury victims get the treatment they need while maximizing their recovery. 


Rico completed his undergraduate degree at Fort Valley State University where he majored in Political Science with honors. 

Carolina Arias Cediel

Associate 

Carolina has a decade of experience in the fields of Immigration, Business Law, Personal Injury, and International Human Rights. She began her legal training as a receptionist at a boutique immigration law firm while completing her Bachelor of Science at Kennesaw State University.


She assisted attorneys with family-based petitions, waivers of inadmissibility, removal defense, nonimmigrant visas, VAWA petitions for victims of spousal abuse, asylum, applications for permanent residency, and naturalization. Since then, she has worked in private law firms like Morgan & Morgan and law firms abroad like Organización Benjamin Herrera.


Carolina decided to pursue a career in law to use her personal and professional experience to represent and educate underserved communities. Carolina is a third-year law student at John Marshall Law School, where she was the recipient of the John E. Ryan Merit Scholarship and recognized on the Dean's list. She founded United Voices Foundation during her first year in law school to build an organization dedicated to serving, educating, and representing underserved communities. Carolina has received the Clinical Legal Education Award and Islamic Circle of North America Community Service Award for her work with United Voices Foundation.


In her spare time, Carolina volunteers with the Southern Poverty Law Center and Atlanta Volunteers Lawyer's Foundation to provide legal representation to individuals unable to afford an attorney. She also serves as a mentor in Atlanta's John Marshall Law School Mentoring Program and as a Treasurer in the Immigration Law Society.
